Simon is a BAFTA award-winning writer and producer specialising in character-led comedy and drama. He has a long-standing knack for spotting emerging voices and helping them shape their breakthrough TV shows, including the multi award-winning This Country, JOSH, Such Brave Girls and Funboys (available on BBC iPlayer). His first solo writing project Can You Keep A Secret? will release in 2026 on BBC1 and Paramount+, starring Dawn French, Mark Heap, Craig Roberts and Mandip Gill.

Ruth is a development producer from Manchester, on the look out for the next generation of talent for radio and screen. Whilst working on Mayhay’s current productions, she is building her own exciting slate, reading scripts and watching a heck of a lot of shows.
