SIMON MAYHEW-ARCHER

Simon is a BAFTA award-winning writer and producer specialising in character-led comedy and drama. He has a long-standing knack for spotting emerging voices and helping them shape their breakthrough TV shows, including the multi award-winning This Country, JOSH, Such Brave Girls and Funboys (available on BBC iPlayer). His first solo writing project Can You Keep A Secret? will release in 2026 on BBC1 and Paramount+, starring Dawn French, Mark Heap, Craig Roberts and Mandip Gill.

Ruth Vassallo

Ruth is a development producer from Manchester, on the look out for the next generation of talent for radio and screen. She started in post-production at Molinare Creative Group, then worked in production for award winning shows like Sweetpea (Sky) The Diplomat (Netflix) and Talamasca (AMC) and finally, joined Mayhay as a development producer. Whilst working on Mayhay’s current productions, she is building her own exciting slate, reading scripts and watching a heck of a lot of shows. Laura Taylor

Laura is development producer from the West Midlands. She was an associate producer on the BAFTA winning comedy Amandaland. Produced the BBC Comedy short ‘Calamity James’ starring actor Mark Bonnar nominated for Broadcast Digital Award and RTS Scotland Award. Previously worked on shows for ITV, Channel 4 and the BBC. She started her career at Tiger Aspect Productions in 2016 and has worked across production, talent management and development since. Her dream project would be combination of her two favourite film makers Shane Meadows and Nancy Myers.
